Back by popular demand, the KidSport New West Fall Classic returns in 2026 and the rivalry is hotter than ever.

Join us for an action-packed rematch as the New Westminster Fire Fighters and Police Department face off once again in a high-energy hockey game that fuels community pride and raises essential funds for local kids.

More than a hockey game, this is a community family event with pre-game and in-game entertainment, a food truck, concession, the return of the popular huck-a-duck toss, and a 50/50 draw.

About KidSport New West

KidSport New West is a community Chapter of KidSport, a national charity whose mission is to remove the financial barriers that prevent families from being able to cover the costs of registration fees.

We are a volunteer organization operating in New Westminster since 2014. All money raised in New Westminster stays in New Westminster. In 2025, we funded 140 kids with over $46,000 in grants.
